ASSISTANT SWIMMING POOL MANAGER
As a focal point for every Center Parcs village, our Subtropical Swimming Paradise (STSP) is a real favourite with all our guests, it is one of a kind and the largest pool in Ireland.
It has something for everyone – from whirlpools to cold water plunge pools – and as one of our Subtropical Swimming Paradise Assistant Managers, your role will focus on helping ensure all guests receive a warm welcome, enjoy great times and create unforgettable moments in a safe and superb setting.
Reporting to and supporting the Subtropical Swimming Paradise Manager, you’ll assist in the smooth running of all facilities and help oversee day to day pool operations. This will involve leading a large and diverse team, with responsibility for maintaining high standards of compliance in relation to quality and safety, as well as delivering the very best in guest service care, whilst meeting agreed performance targets in your functional areas of accountability.
As you’ll appreciate, it a demanding and challenging role, ideally suited to an experienced leisure professional, able to demonstrate evidence of managing a large/diverse team in a related environment, along with a good knowledge of swimming pool operations. In addition, we’ll also be looking for a strong customer focus, first rate communication skills and good level of commercial awareness, coupled with a proven ability to manage service standards and meet agreed KPI’s.
Due to the sensitive nature of this role the successful applicant will be required to apply for Garda Vetting. This disclosure, together with other selection information, will need to be satisfactory to the Company for employment to commence.
HOURS OF WORK
You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week but you will always receive your contracted hours per period.
Your working hours will include days, evenings, weekends, public / bank holidays and during Christmas and/or New Year on a rota basis, with a premium rate of pay for hours worked on a Sunday.
