Bar Supervisor / Team Leader

Soak up the sweet taste of victory, or drown your defeat with a relaxing drink or snack.  The Leisure Bowl is a busy vibrant bar serving cocktails, soft drinks, premium spirits, beers and bar snacks throughout the day alongside ten pin bowling and discos in the evening. 


In this role, you will provide coaching and guidance to your team, ensuring guest satisfaction and financial targets are achieved.  

You will have previous catering or bar management experience, at a minimum of supervisory level and be able to demonstrate your ability to lead a team.  A good financial awareness is also required along with a good level of computer literacy and analytical skills. 

Good communication skills are essential as you will proactively deal with any guest queries whether in your unit or whilst out and about around the village. 


Working straight shifts, you will be contracted to work 160 hours per 4 week period on a flexible basis.  This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each 4 week period.  

As our Village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include weekends, public / bank holidays and during Christmas and/or New Year on a rota basis.  


Essential requirements: 

  • Due to bar service, applicants must be over 18 year’s old
  • Ability to lead a team
  • Financial awareness
  • Catering/Bar Management experience at minimum of supervisory level
  • Good communication skills 

Desirable requirements: 

  • A good level of computer literacy and analytical skills
  • Back of House experience
