Kitchen Administrator

Around each Village, the Food and Beverage department employs around 350 team members across nine different restaurants, cafés and bars, as well as a production kitchen. There’s also a further five concessionary units including well-known brands such as Bella Italia and Café Rouge. From American grills to authentic Indian cuisine, or for those wanting a relaxing drink after a busy day, there’s something to suit all appetites at Center Parcs.


An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Administrator to join our busy Food and Beverage back of house team.  In this role, you will provide full secretarial and administrative support to the Back of House Operations Manager (BOHOM) and their team helping to ensure the division runs smoothly and efficiently.

Duties will include:

  • Assisting with monthly stock taking and responsibility for the creation of relevant reports i.e. wastage, stock, discrepancy reports and processing of Inter Departmental Goods transfer forms
  • Ensuring that weekly rotas are recorded appropriately
  • Ensuring absence paperwork is completed
  • Responsibility for the reconciliation of laundry invoices and allocation of chef whites lockers 
  • Administrative support to the Food Safety Coordinator as required
  • Take chef meeting minutes and communicating to the division
  • Raising and receipting of equipment orders for the BOHOM as required
  • Collate and communicate audits, allergy incident reports and periodic documents as required for due diligence
  • Collecting and recording food and ice samples
  • Administration of all payroll information for chefs, including timesheets and ensuring that accurate information is supplied to the Executive Sous Chef and Payroll


You will be contracted to work 96 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. Shifts will be Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 8:30am-5:00pm. 

As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include weekends, public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.


Essential requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience working as an Administrator including excellent typing skills
  • Computer literacy including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • English GCSE Grade C or above or equivalent

Desirable requirements:

  • RSA II qualification
  • Experience in minute-taking
