CONTROLS INTERNAL AUDITOR | £28,000 per annum

Hybrid role with office-based, home-working and village-based working

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Head Office Finance team.

Reporting to the Audit Manager, this role is responsible for helping to ensure a first-class control environment across the whole of Center Parcs.  This will be achieved via a mix of trend analysis and control testing.

This role will be responsible for identifying irregularities in control completion, helping to conduct investigations into such and support in preparing evidence packs for any formal hearings resulting.

Whilst this is a Head Office role, this role also requires travel to our 6 villages for the purpose of audits, meetings etc and this will involve overnight absences from home.

HOURS OF WORK

You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period (37.5 hours per week). Normal working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. However, dynamic working is available whereby the earliest start time is 7am and the latest finish time is 7pm.

This role requires travel to our 6 villages for the purpose of audits, meetings etc and this will involve overnight absences from home.

ABOUT YOU

Essential requirements:

  • Experience of a control environment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills together with analytical mindset
  • Previous experience of working within a control environment
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable requirements:

  • Previous relevant Audit experience
  • Experience of financial software packages, including windows based applications and previous exposure to systems implementation
