Every year our villages fall under a captivating spell and transform into an enchanting Winter Wonderland. With twinkling lights, glittering decorations and Santa’s Woodland Workshop, the forest comes alive with the anticipation of Christmas.


Please note this is a fixed-term contract until 27 February 2022.

We are looking for a team of festive Food and Beverage Elves who love the spirit of Christmas and will help deliver the magic to our guests. You will provide a professional Santa’s Woodland Workshop experience, ensuring the highest standards are maintained to give the best possible experience.

Our Elves are in character and in costumer whilst working in the Grotto and the role requires a high energy approach. Your duties will include; welcoming guests, taking orders, food and drinks service, maintaining a clean working environment and spreading festive cheer.


Please note this is a fixed-term contract until 27 February 2022.

We have various hours available per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. Shifts will fall between 8am and 11pm.

As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include weekends, public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.


You will have a confident, kind and happy nature, along with plenty of enthusiasm. You will also be able to engage with and built a rapport with people of all ages.

Essential requirements:

  • Excellent communication and customer care skills
  • Naturally cheerful
  • Ability to perform under pressure
  • Being able to improvise - you never know what children might ask!

Desirable requirements:

  • Previous experience of working with children
  • Previous acting / entertainment experience
  • Previous experience of working in a customer service environment, ideally within a Food and Beverage environment
  • NVQ Level 2 in Food Service or equivalent qualification
