ABOUT THE ROLE
At Longford Forest, the Food and Beverage department employs around 300 team members across 10 different restaurants, cafés and bars, as well as a production kitchen. From Italian and American grills to Indian and Asian Fusion cuisine, or for those wanting a relaxing drink after a busy day, there’s something to suit all appetites at Center Parcs.
We are growing our team and as such are looking for experienced Assistant Restaurant Managers to join the following restaurant units:
An extensive bar and restaurant set amongst some of our sports and leisure facilities. This facility offers guests a casual family dining experience with food served from breakfast till late, the menu offers a variety of dishes to choose from.
Our contemporary Eastern-inspired restaurant serving freshly made dishes, from mild and creamy to rich and fiery using real ingredients inspired by tastes from India and across Asia. This is our premium restaurant offering on village.
Canopy Café and Bar
Located in the Subtropical Swimming Paradise, Canape Café and Bar serves a range of tasty snacks and beverages from burgers to baguettes and cocktails to milkshakes.
Great service is infectious. That’s why we need you to set the standard from the start, sharing your unique hospitality style and experience with the front of house team and ensuring that the restaurant fully reflects guest choice and expectations.
Speed, efficiency and effectiveness across all areas of the restaurant will be the order of the day. You’ll be supporting a brilliant management team to take on daily operational challenges by effectively monitoring and coaching people on all aspects of service. With your help, our team members and supervisors will always be in high spirits and prepared be as helpful as possible to colleagues and guests.
Generating a strong rapport with guests and maintaining the restaurant’s warm, easy, family atmosphere requires an Assistant Restaurant Manager who is personable and passionate about service so your supervisory experience in a busy bar, hotel or restaurant setting will certainly help. And although people will be at the top of your agenda, you should be confident with numbers and have great analytical and problem solving skills.
HOURS OF WORK
Working straight shifts, you will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4 week period, on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week but you will always receive your contracted hours per period.
Your working hours will include evenings, weekends, public / bank holidays and during Christmas and/or New Year on a rota basis, with a premium rate of pay for hours worked on a Sunday.
