This is an exciting opportunity to join our Head Office Sales & Marketing team on a fixed- term contract to cover maternity leave until July 2022.

In this role, you will manage the day to day marketing and support for all on village marketing.  Working closely with colleagues across the department, you will help drive marketing activities that support the generation of revenue and profit from the Food, Beverage and Retail (FBR) divisions.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • identifying opportunities for enhancing the guest experience, protecting the brand image and integrity and supporting the achievement of revenue and profit targets
  • ensuring processes, communications and systems are maintained and improved to make certain that marketing on village continues to be delivered in an effective and efficient manner
  • ensuring agreed KPIs are measured and reported on consistently on a monthly basis
  • acting as the primary marketing contact within Sales & Marketing for the Head Office FBR Operations and for maintaining good relationships and that key colleagues are fully informed and involved as appropriate

This role will have responsibility for one Head Office based Marketing Executive and will also take joint dotted line responsibility for a Marketing Coordinator based at 3 of our villages.  Strong people management skills are therefore required. 

In addition, this role will partner with the Head of Business Intelligence and Head of Digital and Media (and/or their delegates) to ensure Sales and Marketing provide strategic and tactical marketing guidance to optimise their capabilities, guidance and support for driving on village revenues.


This is a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave until July 2022.

You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period.  Normal Head Office working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.  However, please note that flexibility will be required in this role as you will visit all villages on a regular basis to provide presence and profile for the team, to build and maintain relationships and to monitor marketing standards.  Overnight stays will also be required.


Essential requirements:

  • Significant experience in a client-side multi-channel marketing department, preferably in a promotions and communications environment (alternatively hands-on Agency Account Manager/Director experience with relevant retail environment and clients)
  • Excellent communications, negotiation, influencing and numeracy skills
  • Strong people manager and team player
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages; Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Budget management, project management and marketing planning experience
  • Good understanding of integrated channel marketing and evaluation techniques
  • Experience briefing out marketing requirements and creative design briefs
  • Experience in creating processes for efficiently handling work and decisions across departments

Desirable requirements:

  • Experience working remotely and travelling to various sites useful
  • Experience in retail, leisure and/or tourism preferable, and for a respected Brand
