We are recruiting an Assistant Manager to work in the very popular fine dining Indian restaurant, Rajinda Pradesh. This restaurant is open every evening offering a wide range of contemporary, authentic Indian dishes which are made using fresh ingredients and traditional cooking techniques. 

In the role of Assistant Manager you will assist the unit Manager in effectively controlling, co-ordinating and planning the activities of the unit to the standards set out in the Departmental Brand Standards Manual. 

Other responsibilities will include helping to lead, motivate and develop the team. This is a hands-on management role, where you will play an integral part in the day-to-day running of the operation, including taking orders, serving food and ensuring the team deliver excellent service to every guest. 


You will be contracted to work 80 hours per 4 week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days of work could vary each week but you will always receive your contracted hours each period. 

You will need to be able to work a variety of mid-week and weekend shifts, usually falling between 3:30pm-midnight. 


You will be highly motivated and committed, with previous experience as an Assistant Manager or Supervisor in a similar operation. You will have a passion for delivering great guest service and ensuring all requirements are met.

Essential requirements: 

  • GCSE grade ‘C’ Maths and English or equivalent
  • Previous supervisory experience within a catering environment 

Desirable requirements: 

  • A Food Hygiene qualification
  • A formal hospitality qualification would be advantageous
