Set within the forest environment, the HR team is responsible for the welfare of 1,700 employees, ensuring everyone is given an equal opportunity and that our policies are adhered to. We work closely with all departments, supporting a wide variety of teams across our; Housekeeping, Food Beverage and Retail, Leisure and Administration divisions, offering support and guidance when required.
HR ADVISOR - EMPLOYEE RELATIONS
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Advisor to join our friendly, professional and hard-working team. You will be working alongside a team of HR Administrators, a Recruitment and Retention Advisor, a HR Operations Advisor and a HR Generalist Advisor. There will be the opportunity to rotate into one of the different specialist roles periodically.
This role will encompass all aspects of Employee Relations. You will be providing advice to operational managers on complex issues ensuring quality and consistency is achieved through successful case management in order to promote and protect the company values and brand.
You will act as a first point of contact to operational management on all aspects of Employee Relations including discipline, grievance, absence, equality, maternity and paternity; proactively working with managers to achieve optimal outcomes for both business and individual.
You must be highly organised with excellent verbal and written communication skills alongside relevant experience at HR Advisor level within a large company. Experience with the use of Microsoft Office, report generating and HR / Payroll systems will be necessary.
HOURS OF WORK
You will be contracted to work 160 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. Hours of work will generally be Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm, with flexibilty required to work the occasional weekend or evening.
As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.
We are seeking a driven and highly motivated professional with significant experience of managing employee relation cases to conclusion, providing professional advice and guidance to managers and colleagues in the full range of HR issues.
