Set in hundreds of acres of beautiful forest, our new Center Parcs resort – Longford Forest - will welcome 250,000 guests each year, providing the very best facilities and activities. ABOUT THE ROLE
At Center Parcs all our accommodation has been designed and built to the highest standards, so we need a team to uphold these standards and exceed guest expectation. Our Housekeeping team will be responsible for maintaining more than 460 Lodges, and for looking after our public areas and office spaces. That’s why it’s the largest team on each village.
Initially you will be involved in the large scale recruitment and training of the Housekeeping team - up to 360 staff, ensuring all are appropriately skilled and ready to greet our first guests in preparation for the successful opening of Longford Forest in summer 2019.
Reporting to the Accommodation Services & Housekeeping Line Manager, you will have responsibility for managing a large team of circa 60 colleagues ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the Linen, Laundry, Inventory and Logistics areas to maximise standards and efficiency.
You will be responsible for providing training and development of all colleagues within the department, ensuring that the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are achieved along with high standards of service and guest care.

The role will differ initially to when the resort is open and fully operational so flexibility, adaptability and a willingness to help out as required are key requirements. There will be the requirement to travel to the UK to undertake initial training on commencement of this role.
The ideal candidate should have previous supervisory experience within a demanding service driven environment. You should be able to demonstrate excellent people management skills, along with a clear ability to lead and motivate a large team.
HOURS OF WORK
You will be contracted to work 160 hours per 4 week period, on a flexible basis. During the pre-opening period it is anticipated that your hours of work will generally be Monday – Friday office hours but flexibility will be required.
Once the village is operational your working hours will include some weekends on a duty rota basis, some public / bank holidays and during Christmas and/or New Year on a rota basis.
