Watersports Team Members (fixed-term)

Set in hundreds of acres of beautiful forest Longford Forest is the perfect place for a short break in Ireland, 365 days a year. With homely accommodation, up to 100 indoor and outdoor activities and a choice of bars and restaurants, there is something for all the family, all year round.


Our Watersports Lake is at the heart of the village and we offer activities for everyone, from hiring a pedalo or rowing boat with the family, to paddleboard tuition and raft building. We are now looking for confident, motivated individuals to join our Outdoor Pursuits team as Watersports Team Members.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Helping with setting up beach side activities
  • Hiring out of wet suits
  • Cash handling and operating the till
  • Manning the Adventure Golf kiosk

The ideal candidates will have excellent customer service and communication skills and the ability to work on their own initiative.


Essential requirements:

  • Must be 18 years or over
  • An outgoing personality
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

Desirable requirements:

  • Previous experience using booking systems
  • Previous experience of working within the Leisure/customer service industry and experience of outdoor activities


Please note this is a fixed-term contract until 30 September 2021.

We have the following contracts available on a flexible basis, which means your days and hours of work could vary each week but you will always receive your contracted hours each period.

  • 60 hours per 4-week period
  • 90 hours per 4-week period
  • 120 hours per 4-week period

Your working hours will include weekends, public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis, with a premium rate of pay for hours worked on a Sunday.
