ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for Retail Assistants with a passion for delivering excellent customer service to join our team. Based in ‘Treats’, our village sweetshop, your duties will involve all aspects of retail from serving customers on the checkouts and handling payments to replenishing stock ensuring that all goods are attractively displayed.
You will actively listen and look for opportunities to ensure the guests' requirements are always met and naturally seek out opportunities to exceed their expectations.
HOURS OF WORK
You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4 week period on a flexible basis. This means your hours and days of work could vary each week, but you will always receive your contracted hours as a minimum.
Your shifts will fall between the hours of 6am and 9.30pm, including some weekends and public / bank holidays on a rota basis.
The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a guest facing role, have excellent communication skills and be comfortable working independently or as part of a team. You will be confident taking ownership of guest queries or issues, ensuring that they are served in a friendly and efficient manner.
Please note applicants must be over the age of 18 due to occasional cover in the adjacent express store and unsupervised evening work.
