CYCLE CENTRE ASSISTANT | €12.90 Per Hour

Our Cycle Centre is a thriving hub and key area of activity, as well as being a very busy operation with its own retail shop that’s designed to fulfil the needs of each and every guest…whatever their age.

Our dedicated team of Assistants are responsible for ensuring our cycles and equipment are ready to hire out to our guests twice per week. 

As part of the Cycle Centre team, you will be required to deliver excellent service to our guests when allocating cycles and selling cycle accessories from the Cycle Centre shop.

This is a practical customer facing role, requiring a cheerful and confident communicator, who would relish the chance to undertake a busy and physically demanding job that’s right at the heart of village life. 

ABOUT YOU

Essential requirements:

  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to cope in pressurised situations due to the busy nature of the cycle centre business
  • Physically capable of carrying out the demands of the role 

Desirable requirements:

  • Cytech Level 2 qualification or equivalent
  • Previous experience of working in a customer service or retail environment

HOURS OF WORK

You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive your contracted hours each period.

Your working hours may include some evenings, weekends, public/bank holidays and during Christmas and/or New Year on a rota basis, with a premium rate of pay for hours worked on a Sunday.
