ABOUT THE ROLE

For any accomplished, senior level hospitality professional, who’s passionate about driving standards and delivering service excellence, this is a rare opportunity to showcase your ability in what probably is a unique role in the Irish Food and Beverage sector.

The Front of House Operations Manager is a key leadership role, deputising for the Food and Beverage Divisional Manager, with a brief that extends across 10 different restaurants, cafés and bars… so that should give you some idea of the task at hand. Leading from the front and directly responsible for instilling a service culture that’s second to none, you’ll play an instrumental role in ensuring all our guests enjoy an unrivalled customer experience throughout each and every day of their stay.

Leading and mentoring a large team, this will involve:

  • Overseeing all Front of House operations, managing divisional budgets and monitoring actions regarding recruitment, retention, training and development
  • Constantly analysing guest service satisfaction levels and recognising areas for improvement
  • Collaborating with your managers to develop innovative initiatives to drive sales and profit levels
  • Using your passion for the industry to inspire and drive change at all levels.

ABOUT YOU

The scale and diversity of the role, means we’re looking for a genuine people manager, who can use their undoubted experience and ability in the hospitality sector to set standards and champion change from the moment they set foot on the village.

Essential requirements:

  • A strong management background in the hospitality sector, which should include experience of coaching and managing large teams across a multi-site or regional operation
  • Excellent leadership skills and a good degree of commercial know-how, backed by a proven ability to deliver results when working to challenging targets
  • A solution focused approach and a team orientated outlook, with a genuine commitment to fostering excellence in customer service

Desirable requirements:

  • Hospitality/Business qualification - HND/Degree level essential
  • Advanced Food Hygiene Certificate

HOURS OF WORK

You will be contracted to work 160 hours per 4-week period.  This means that your hours and days of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period.    

As our Village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours may include weekends, public / bank holidays and during Christmas and/or New Year on a rota basis.
