Set in hundreds of acres of beautiful forest, our new Center Parcs resort – Longford Forest - will welcome 250,000 guests each year, providing the very best facilities and activities. On Friday 8 November 2019, each Village falls under a captivating spell and transforms into an enchanting Winter Wonderland. With twinkling lights, glittering decorations and Santa’s Woodland Workshop, the forest comes alive with the anticipation of Christmas.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The trepidation and excitement of Christmas is magical for all children. It’s a wonderful time of the year and at the heart of their experience is Santa. Every year he sees thousands of children and each time they leave with smiles on their faces.
From the moment you step into the red suit you’ll be totally focused on the job at hand, regaling stories from the North Pole and asking children about their Christmas list. Whatever question they ask, you’ll ensure that the magic is sprinkled and the anticipation of Christmas Eve heightened.
Your confident, kind and jolly nature will be backed by the ability to say “Ho, Ho, Ho” with plenty of enthusiasm. You will also need to be able to engage and build a rapport with people of all ages.
Experience of sign language would certainly add value to your application.
Due to the sensitive nature of this role the successful applicant will be required to undergo Garda Vetting. This disclosure, together with other selection information, will need to be satisfactory to the Company for employment to commence.
HOURS OF WORK
Please note that this is a fixed-term contract from 4 November 2019 to 24 December 2019 inclusive.
You will be contracted to work 120 hours per 4 week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days of work may vary each week but you will always receive your contracted hours per period.
Your hours of work will typically fall between the hours of 8:30am and 9pm, however flexibility may be required. You will be required to work week days, evenings, weekends and public / bank holidays on a rota basis.
