We are now looking to recruit an Assistant Manager to join the Cycle Centre team.

In this role, you will assist the Cycle Centre Manager with the smooth running of all Cycle Centre facilities, including maintaining and driving the commercial management and control of associated costs. 

Other responsibilities will include supporting the Cycle Centre Manager in driving and delivering excellent guest service, achieving all financial targets, managing budgets and delivering agreed performance targets.

The successful candidate will have a friendly and professional manner along with excellent communication skills as they will be required to build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues including counter parts on other Villages.

Previous supervisory / managerial experience is essential as you will be responsible for the motivation of the team as well as providing coaching and coordinating any training requirements.   


You will be contracted to work 160 hours per 4 week period on a flexible basis.  This means that your hours and days of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. 

You will work 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis with shifts falling between 6:30am and 9pm on Monday and Friday and between 8am and 6pm every other day. Your working hours may also include weekends and some public / bank holidays.


Essential requirements:

  • 2 years supervisory experience within the Leisure Industry
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Basic IT knowledge and understanding
  • Outgoing nature, enjoys working with people
  • Innovative and creative with the drive to see projects through to completion

Desirable requirements:

  • CYTEC Qualification NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
  • Knowledge of cycle maintenance
