Accommodation Manager

At Center Parcs all our accommodation has been designed and built to the highest standards, so we need a team to uphold these standards and exceed guest expectation. Our Housekeeping team is responsible for maintaining more than 700 units of accommodation; from apartments and penthouses to Lodges and Treehouses, and for looking after our public areas and office spaces, so no two days are the same. That’s why it’s the largest team on each Village.

ACCOMMODATION MANAGER | £31,600 per annum, plus 13% bonus

As Accommodation Manager for a designated area of the village you’ll have full accountability for guest satisfaction, underpinned by the development and delivery of a robust strategy for meeting day to day operational tasks and targets.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Analysing department data and managing divisional budgets to ensure company targets and policies are met and guest satisfaction is exceeded
  • Managing resources to meet demand
  • Overseeing staff rotas, recruitment and retention
  • Employee development and progression

You’ll join a team of Accommodation Managers across the village, and we’ll expect you to liaise and share best practice with your colleagues to facilitate high performance and engagement, with a view to maximising standards of cleanliness, accommodation maintenance and comfort for guests at all times.

HOURS OF WORK

You will be contracted to work 160 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period.

As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include weekends, public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

The size of the function means we’re looking for an already capable and proven department manager with experience of motivating and developing large teams, as well as fantastic communication skills. You’ll need to be able to work well under pressure, successfully work to targets and demonstrate an ability in budgeting and financial control.

Essential requirements:

  • Experience of leading a large team in a demanding service driven environment
  • Sociably confident with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to support, develop and challenge a team
  • Able to plan, prioritise and organise workload to set timescales and work well under pressure
  • Proven ability and experience of budgeting and financial control
  • Competent on Microsoft Office

Desirable requirements:

  • Previous Housekeeping or Facilities Management experience within a service / operational environment
