ABOUT THE ROLE

Working as part of a team, the role requires a professional but outgoing approach, accompanied with enthusiasm at all times and a passion to deliver customer satisfaction.

You will lead a varied number of leisure activities, ensuring the highest standards are maintained to give the best possible experience to our guests. Whilst providing a high standard of childcare, you will also be responsible for providing a safe environment for all guests. There are a wide range of children, family and adult activities available and you will be responsible for looking for opportunities to ensure the guests' requirements are always met and naturally seek out opportunities to exceed their expectations. 

To deliver leisure activities ensuring all aspects of the activity are operated smoothly and efficiently to include maintaining hygiene / cleanliness standards in line with Departmental Operating Procedures and the standards delivered from your training.

HOURS OF WORK

Please note that this position is on a zero hours (casual) basis.  This means that any hours of work will be offered according to business needs, such as employee holiday, sickness cover and seasonal business requirements.

The Venue has a robust seasonal programme and will be open from 7am to Midnight.  Available shifts will fall anytime during these opening hours and will include weekends and public / bank holidays.

ABOUT YOU

Essential requirements:

  • Naturally outgoing and enthusiastic personality
  • To demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with both adults and children in groups of different sizes
  • Naturally cheerful

Desirable requirements:

  • Experience of working within the customer care industry
  • Previous activity leadership experience
  • Confidence to demonstrate new skills to a group of participants (children/adults)
