Set in hundreds of acres of beautiful forest, our new Center Parcs resort – Longford Forest - will welcome 250,000 guests each year, providing the very best facilities and activities. To transform our vision into a reality, we’re looking for an incredible and unstoppable team of around 1,000 employees – and this is a unique opportunity to make a great impression right from the start.


A range of quality restaurants and cafés, mixed with great food, family-friendly menus and a generous sprinkling of excellent service. That’s the recipe for success in our Food and Beverage department.

At Longford Forest, the Food and Beverage department will employ around 300 team members across 10 different restaurants, cafés and bars, as well as a production kitchen. From Italian and American grills to Indian and Asian Fusion cuisine, or for those wanting a relaxing drink after a busy day, there’s something to suit all appetites at Center Parcs.

We are now looking for 3 experienced Restaurant Managers to join the team with the unique chance to get involved from the beginning.

Reporting to the Food, Beverage and Retail Manager, you will have full management responsibility for one of the following restaurant units:

Hucks – A busy restaurant, serving American style cuisine. As one of our biggest units it has a restaurant (250 covers), bar, games zone and children’s play area, it’s a fast-paced environment with ample opportunity to interact and engage with our guests.

Sports Café - An extensive bar and restaurant set amongst some of our sports and leisure facilities.  This facility offers guests a casual family dining experience where they can watch live sporting events on the big screen, knock down a few pins in our bowling alley or let the kids enjoy our large play facilities. With food served from breakfast till late, the menu offers a variety of dishes to choose from.

Cara’s Kitchen and Bar – A new addition to the Center Parcs family, Cara’s Kitchen and Bar serves food and drink in a relaxed, family friendly environment from breakfast till late. With an all day menu, a children’s play area and live entertainment, this is the place to unwind and enjoy traditional family favourites with a modern twist.

Initially you will be involved in the large scale recruitment and training of the Food and Beverage teams ensuring all are appropriately skilled and ready to greet our first guests in preparation for the successful opening of Longford Forest in summer 2019. 

As Restaurant Manager, you will relish leading, motivating and directing the activities of your own team, planning and overseeing the smooth running of both the front of house and back of house operations… doing what you do best, delivering an excellent service to each and every guest. 

You will be an experienced, highly skilled manager, who is used to achieving great results in a busy restaurant/bar. Having great commercial awareness, you will have experience of spend-per-head, cost of sales, labour ratio analysis and delivery of bottom line profits. 

This role will commence in early February 2019 and will require some travel to the UK to undertake initial training upon commencement.


To succeed in this role you will have extensive experience of running a large high volume restaurant /bar operation, ideally with experience in restaurant openings/refurbishments.

Essential requirements: 

  • Ability to lead a team
  • Previous responsibility for financial delivery and business planning
  • A good level of computer literacy and analytical skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to influence, motivate and inspire your team


You will be contracted to work 160 hours per 4 week period, on a flexible basis. During the pre-opening period it is anticipated that your hours of work will generally be Monday – Friday office hours.

Once the village is operational your working hours will include weekends, public / bank holidays and during Christmas and/or New Year on a rota basis.
