DEPUTY RESTAURANT MANAGER - HUCK’S AMERICAN BAR AND GRILL | Circa £26,800 per annum

Great service is infectious. That’s why we need you to set the standard from the start, sharing your unique hospitality style and experience with the front of house team and ensuring that the restaurant fully reflects guest choice and expectations.

Speed, efficiency and effectiveness across all areas of the restaurant will be the order of the day. You’ll be supporting a brilliant management team to take on daily operational challenges by effectively monitoring and coaching people on all aspects of service. With your help, our team members and supervisors will always be in high spirits and prepared be as helpful as possible to colleagues and guests.

Generating a strong rapport with guests and maintaining the restaurant’s warm, easy, family atmosphere requires a Deputy Restaurant Manager who is personable and passionate about service so your supervisory experience in a busy bar, hotel or restaurant setting will certainly help. And although people will be at the top of your agenda, you should be confident with numbers and have great analytical and problem solving skills.

HOURS OF WORK

Working straight shifts, you will be contracted to work 160 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. Shifts will fall between 2pm and Midnight. 

As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include weekends, public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Essential requirements:

  • Ability to lead a team
  • Good financial awareness – stocktaking / rotas / analysis
  • A good level of computer literacy and analytical skills
  • Catering / Bar Management experience in a high volume restaurant / bar environment at Deputy Manager level or as Manager in a smaller unit
  • Good communication skills

Desirable requirements:

  • Back of House experience
