Management Accountant

Working closely with all divisions at Center Parcs, the Finance Team oversee all financial operations on the Village. We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic and organised individual to support the Village finance function.

MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT

Reporting to the Village Financial Controller, you will be required to assist in all financial aspects of the village operation, ensuring that all entries in the management accounts are accurately calculated and reported. You will provide management reports and analysis to support the village in operating more efficiently and assist in period and annual accounts preparation.

Other responsibilities will include assisting with budget and forecast processes and preparation and providing support and advice to the village on the company’s ordering system.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, along with good supervisory skills as you will manage and develop the Management Accounts Assistant to ensure objectives are achieved.

HOURS OF WORK

You will be contracted to work 160 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. Your working hours will be 9:00am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday.

As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Essential requirements:

  • Substantial practical experience in an accountancy-based role
  • Excellent analytical and bookkeeping skills
  • Computer literate (MS Office)

Desirable requirements:

  • AAT qualification or part qualified CIMA or ACCA
