Bar and Waiting Team Member - Sports Café

From a big platter of bacon sandwiches to a quick Mediterranean flatbread or our mouth-watering rotisserie chicken, you’ll find plenty of tasty choice on the Sports Café menu. We’re open from breakfast through to midnight and this is a busy, popular venue with the big games being streamed live onto our screens.

We’re now looking for a highly motivated Bar and Waiting Team Members to join us, to develop the team and drive the business forward.

BAR AND WAITING TEAM MEMBERS

Centre stage and front of house, our Bar and Waiting Team Members are at the heart of village life, continually meeting and exceeding the expectations of our guests…day after day.

Your day to day duties will include welcoming and seating guests, taking orders, bar service, serving food and drinks and maintaining a clean working environment.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering excellent customer service, have good communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team. As the face of Center Parcs, you will ensure our guests leave satisfied by serving them in an efficient yet professional manner, actively seeking out opportunities to exceed their expectations.

HOURS OF WORK

Working straight shifts, you will be contracted to work either 100 hours or 120 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. Shifts will fall between 7am and 11.30pm. 

As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include weekends, public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Essential requirements:

  • Where bar service is required, applicants must be over 18 year’s old
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure

Desirable requirements:

  • Previous experience of working in a customer service environment, ideally within a Food and Beverage environment
  • NVQ Level 2 in Food Service or equivalent qualification
