Textiles Tutors (Talent Bank)

About the role

We are looking to appoint several highly creative and passionate Textiles Tutors for the 3D studies programme area within the School of Visuals Arts. You will be a specialist in one of the following areas: digital textile design using Illustrator or Photoshop, natural dye techniques, crochet, quilting, weaving, sublimation processes, screen printing, embroidery, fabric manipulation. You will be part of a team of staff delivering a provision of textiles courses across a range of levels from beginner to advanced learners. We aim to provide access to general skills alongside more specialist workshops in a range of relevant subject areas.

  • A teaching qualification
  • Experience of teaching by practical demonstration and one-to-one support in a classroom setting
  • A high level of skills and knowledge in textiles
  • A qualification or equivalent experience relevant to textiles
