What’s in the role and what are we looking for? 

We are recruiting for a Senior Stock Allocator, to join the Stock Control team at our Head Office in Altrincham. This role requires someone with head office experience and at least 12 to 18 months in a similar role. You will be part of a small team and a key part of the role will be to support the Allocations Manager in managing the stock packages of our 90+ stores nationally – ensuring that the correct stock is in the correct place. In addition you will be required to supervise and support a junior team member.

Some of the key responsibilities include: 

  • Creating, updating and managing spreadsheets relating to store stocks and sales
  • Analysing sales and stock data, communicating findings and proposing actions
  • Assisting with the production of weekly/monthly reports
  • Liaising with our Store Ops team, Store Managers and the Merchandising team at Head office
  • Creating new store opening stock packages and ensuring key deadlines for all launches are met
  • Data entry
  • Supporting the senior members of the team in any other additional tasks

 Your Skills Profile

  • Must have experience of using Microsoft Office, in particular Excel, with a focus on creating and using spreadsheets and formulas.
  • Be an excellent communicator in both written and verbal form.
  • Must be highly organised, good at prioritising workload and have a flexible attitude to changing priorities.
  • Should be enthusiastic, self-confident and self-motivated with a commitment to wanting to improve.
  • Must have a high degree of accuracy in all work paying close attention to detail and be very analytical in approach
  • Can work at a steady pace, and complete routine jobs to a schedule
  • Is happy working with both independently and as part of a team. The role involves a significant amount of solo work
