Solicitor / Associate – Real Estate (National Occupier Team) – Belfast/Virtual
DWF (Northern Ireland) LLP is now seeking to recruit a Solicitor / Associate (2-5PQE+) (dual qualified in either Northern Ireland/England & Wales, Northern Ireland/Republic of Ireland or Republic of Ireland/England &Wales) to join the Real Estate National Occupier team, based primarily in the Belfast office.
Our Real Estate Practice Group deals with all aspects of real estate legal issues, including high-value acquisitions and disposals, portfolio management, development (including regeneration projects) and the creation and treatment of all kinds of investments. We act for landowners, occupiers, developers, funders, contractors and professionals across the sector. We also work with landlords and tenants within the institutional, telecoms, corporate, retail and public sectors – including education and local government.
The Solicitor / Associate we are looking to recruit will form part of the National Occupier Team and will predominantly act for corporate occupiers in the retail, hospitality and professional services sector. DWF acts for many household names in the retail and hospitality sector, in particular, all of whom have ambitious acquisition plans and portfolios to manage. The role is fast-paced and rewarding and candidates will be joining an energetic and forward-thinking team.
We are seeking applications from candidates who have relevant experience in leasehold acquisitions and portfolio management. Candidates should also have confidence in negotiating agreements for leases and other associated property documents, re-gearing, undertaking complex title investigations and reporting.
Solid landlord and tenant experience as well as experience of corporate support work and certificates of title are a requirement in this role.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate a drive to succeed and an enthusiasm to engage with clients. It is important that the successful candidate has the ability to work as part of a team in addition to being confident working under their own initiative. Dual qualification is not required.
