DWF is seeking to recruit a Solicitor to join our high profile Commercial Insurance team in Edinburgh.  The team is instructed by our insurer clients predominantly to pursue subrogated property damage recovery claims, that is, to recover insurers’ outlay where damage has been caused to their customer’s property, be it commercial or domestic premises. The team also handles an increasing number of defender instructions.

What we are looking for:

  • The opportunity is for a Solicitor with up to 2 years PQE.
  • A similar commercial insurance and/or professional indemnity background, though we will also consider experience of similar work types.
  • A self-motivated individual who can effectively develop relationships. 
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills, with the ability to work to deadlines
  • Someone who is able to demonstrate a real desire to develop their career with DWF
