Associate Solicitors - Banking & Finance – UK Wide
For DWF's high profile, market leading banking team, we are seeking to recruit a number of Associates who will support the international and national banking group working with a number of specialist banking teams across DWF business.
The Banking & Finance Team advises financial institutions (in various roles including senior, mezzanine and junior), funds and corporate clients (including borrowers and sponsors) both nationally and internationally.
Transactions span a wide-ranging spectrum of banking and finance work and asset classes including corporate lending, general banking, leverage and structured finance, real estate and project finance, energy and structured asset finance, asset-based lending, fund finance, debt loan transactions and restructuring work.
The practice differentiates themselves (from competitors) through their commercial approach, exceptional client service and by ensuring that all team members can access and participate in high-quality work from and with clients operating across a variety of business and asset sectors.
Such service is underpinned by a supportive, collaborative and collegiate working environment (at all levels of the team) which is a cornerstone of the well-established and fast developing DWF Banking & Finance practice. We will consider candidates who have upwards of 2 years' qualified experience and we offer genuine opportunities for career development whilst working with senior members of the team who want colleagues and team members to succeed.
The breath of our clients and the structured and complex nature of the work means we develop and train Associates who are able to deal difficult legal and/or commercial issues quickly and effectively therefore enabling them to develop as important members of the team. A successful candidate will have a good and tangible experience of transactional banking (both lender and borrower) and specialism in a particular area will not be seen as a negative. You will be able to demonstrate technical and commercial expertise with the ability to deliver excellent product and advice delivered within required time frames.
