Senior Associate Commercial Litigation (6 PQE+) – Sydney/Newcastle
For DWF's high profile National Litigation team, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Associate Commercial Litigation (6PQE+) to be based in our Sydney or Newcastle office.

The National Litigation Team provides commercial advice to clients who need to resolve a wide variety of disputes. Their cases span a wide ranging spectrum of small and large scale commercial and corporate disputes and sector specific work including real estate / construction, intellectual property, workplace relations, insolvency, negligence and financial litigation. Achieving good commercial and legal results for our clients and providing innovative solutions in an energetic, decisive manner are strong drivers within the Litigation Team.
We differentiate ourselves through our commercial strategy, exceptional client service by the whole team and have a multi-disciplinary disputes team of diverse sector specialists and experts for all types of contentious work.
Leveraging off DWF's connected Services Business we continue to explore and provide cutting edge solutions to the litigation process for our clients with an emphasis on technology solutions.
The ideal candidate will have 6 years plus post qualification experience and a thorough understanding of court processes and rules in the jurisdiction, litigation processes and dispute resolution mechanisms. You will demonstrate technical and commercial expertise and deliver excellent results and client service for clients within required time frames, in a fast-paced environment.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate the ability to work well within the wider litigation team, to self-motivate and to provide guidance, supervision and support to junior team members. To be successful in the role you will be a motivated self-starter and be prepared to take ownership of matters. Excellent communication skills, drive and strong drafting skills will be key to success in this role.
