Local Business Manager - Mid Essex

ECL, the Care and Wellbeing Company, are looking for an exceptional individual to strengthen their management team in their Short Term Enablement Support service. This is a post for someone already a Senior Carer or in Care Management role to work in the mid Regulated Service which provides care and support for people living in their own homes.

This is an exciting time to join us in a time of expansion as we look to grow our provision of CQC regulated services for community short term care and support across the county. Your role will be key in enabling a motivated and empowered workforce to deliver the emerging strategies.

You will work alongside other local business managers to lead and inspire a team of front line staff to ensure the delivery of high standards of care and support to our customers whilst operating within agreed budgets to achieve business objectives.

You will be responsible for performance management of a cohort of staff, directing and mentoring them to ensure our service continues to develop and retain a strong focus on choice and control for customers.

In addition you will have the ability to influence, problem solve and make decisions, demonstrating flexibility, adaptability and a positive ‘can do’ attitude. The ability to network and forge strong and productive partnerships across the organisation and with external partners is vital as well as having the ability and vision to support the development of integrated community support services.

Educated to QCF Diploma or NVQ Level 2 in relevant area, you will have effective communication skills, proven management or supervisory skills in the care sector coupled with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.

As this role requires travel around the community, a car driver with their own vehicle is essential.
