ECL is the leading provider of care and support services across Essex, Havering and West Sussex. As a business we have ambitions to grow further, we have an exciting opportunity to join our in-house recruitment team. 

In your new role as a Recruitment Coordinator, you will be supporting the recruitment team with the end-to-end recruitment process. You will be liaising with Recruitment Consultants and Hiring managers to fill vacancies across Essex, Havering and West Sussex.

You'll be processing applications, carrying out telescreens and ensuring our applicants have a seamless recruitment experience, in a fast-paced environment where great communication is key. What you'll do

  • Manage applications, interviews and our recruitment database (ATS)
  • Screening new recruits, including DBS and references in line with CQC Safer recruitment guidance
  • Keep applicants updated by phone, letter and email
  • Be the first point of contact for all internal and external recruitment enquiries
  • Coordinate interviews and conduct phone interviews
  • Issue offer letters and contracts
  • Liaise with key stakeholders within your regions, keeping managers updated with their candidate pipeline.

What you'll need

  • Computer skills with Word, Excel and ATS experience
  • Previous recruitment experience
  • A confident communication style 
  • A ‘can do’ attitude
  • A knack for multi-tasking and organisation
  • Initiative and ability to make sound decisions
  • An eye for detail as you will be processing DBS and new starter documentation.

Due to current climate we are pleased to be able to offer this role either working remotely or at our office in Chelmsford, therefore the ability to work independently to manage your candidate pipeline is essential and although you will have support from other members of the team you will also need to demonstrate good judgement when using your own initiative.
