Location:    Seax House, Chelmsford with travel required across Essex

Are you an experienced in social care and feel passionate about people achieving their goals?  

We are seeking an experienced leader for a new position within our Day Opportunities team for a Trusted Assessor Manager, known internally as Lead Trusted Assessor.

We have a dedicated team of Trusted Assessors who work across Essex offering initial assessments and reviews to all people who use ECL Day Opportunities services. We are looking for the right person who can lead the team, provide guidance & support and strengthen the assessments and review process.

If you have experience in leading teams across a large geographic area, have an analytical mind, experienced in undertaking assessments and be customer focused we’d love to hear from you.

Requirements include:

  • Travel around the county required, a car driver with own vehicle essential
  • Proven skills in delivering high quality sustainable care services, with clear decision-making abilities and a sense of responsibility.
  • Demonstrable operational leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams with confidence, drive and enthusiasm, showing excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Collaborative approach with social care, health partners including families and carers.
  • Proven ability to undertake investigations and assignments that require senior level report writing and presentations.
