ECL’s vision is to be the supplier of choice for Adult Health and Social Care, this is an exciting time within ECL to support, drive and develop our new ECC contract.
The Area Manager is a highly visible role responsible for the delivery of specific services/projects within an area of Essex.
The role requires vision, strong management skills and experience to support and coordinate the integration of ECL services and to ensure the development of community support services for the future.
Training, skills and proven knowledge is required around profound, multiple learning disabilities, complex needs and autism or proven knowledge and experience of community connecting with positive outcomes.
Within the role you will be expected to work with colleagues to identify ways of implementing a continuous improvement cycle and sharing best practice across the whole company.
The expectation is to be an exemplar role model for colleagues in terms of the values of ECL and exhibiting commercial behaviours
The post requires acting as a motivational role model to the Service Managers working across ECL Day Operations. Customers may include adults with long term health conditions, complex needs, autism, sensory impairments, learning disabilities and/or mental health conditions.
To support the Business manager in the implementation of an agreed programme of transformation and lead a team of operational managers to deliver services and grow the business in line with the organisations business targets for growth.
This requires networking and forge strong and productive partnerships both across the organisation and with external partners and commissioners is vital as well as supporting the Business Manager to implement key strategies for future business opportunities and growth.
This postholder will take the lead for reporting the service area to the support functions, so needs to be highly motivated and have the ability to problem solve, excellent IT and communication skills, will demonstrate flexibility, adaptability and a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
