Data Editor

An opportunity has arisen for an organised, approachable and self-motivated, Data Editor to join our Product Data Team in Sheffield, on an initial 12-month fixed term contract. Reporting to the Product Creation Team Leader you will assist in the sourcing, organisation and input of a vast range of product information. A natural communicator, you will also have a good eye for detail and accuracy.

The successful candidate will take ownership for the collection of product data for a specified product area, liaise with multiple areas of the business such as Product Management and Studio and develop strong working relationships with suppliers to manage sourcing and control of all their product content- clear technical descriptions, product data, digital media, COSHH sheets, manuals, etc… As a Data Editor you will create product data on ERP systems, assist in the creation of templates, data imports and exports, profile and maintain data integrity of the product data set and understand the value of data within the business and downstream systems.

You will ideally have experience of data management, taking pride in the accuracy of data and having a strong appreciation of the importance of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation. A good understanding on Microsoft Office packages including Excel and word, ERP systems and the office products market are all ideal.
