Express Solicitors runs an Easter vacation schemes each year, this year we are looking for two students. The scheme consists of one week voluntary work placement, working 9am to 5pm.
This year’s Easter vacation scheme will run from Monday 6th April 2020 to Thursday 9th April 2020 or Tuesday 14th April to Friday 17th April 2020. Students must be available for these dates as we cannot offer alternative dates.
The placement will be at our offices in Northenden, South Manchester. Your time at Express Solicitors will be split between working in our wide range of departments as well as shadowing fee earners. We always endeavour to give each work experience applicant the opportunity to conduct some legal work and the chance to attend court.
The placement is a unique opportunity to gain an insight into how a successful specialist personal injury law firm works and the chance to gain excellent practical experience.
The placement is open to students in the final year of their LLB or those who are currently studying their GDL or LPC. Applicants whom demonstrate a definitive interest in personal injury via their application will be at an added advantage.

If successful after shortlisting, candidates will be invited in to complete an application exercise and face to face interview. The process is structured in this way to give students the opportunity to gain experience of the different stages of a typical job application.
Successful candidates will be contacted to discuss interview availability w/c 9th March 2020. Interviews will then take place week commencing 16th March 2020. Candidates will be notified of the outcome by 27th March 2020.
