Where and when do we need you?
Fair Ways have a fantastic opportunity to join our amazing charity as a Systems Lead. We are looking for an organised and confident individual with strong problem solving skills and excellent attention to detail to provide quality systems support by helping maintain and develop our HRIS and other internal systems, including reporting and analytics
As part of our fantastic HR Function, you will be involved in things like:
- System Support - Providing 1st line troubleshooting support and manging any required escalation of technical issues. Providing virtual and in person systems support for employees and managers, using feedback to develop system functionality and improvements.
- System Training - Taking responsibility for all system training materials, ensuring all new users are given the necessary systems training and that regular refresher training is provided.
- Audits and Data Management - Carrying out audits and data cleansing tasks to ensure data is accurate, up to date and Fair Ways maintain compliance with the Data Protection Act.
- Reporting - Taking the lead on producing required reporting from internal databases to inform and guide improvements, decision making and ensuring informed change.
- Implementation and Development - Developing and building new system modules, including testing and implementation. Creating any required workflows, reporting templates, data processing guidelines and user guides supporting system development.
- Internal systems support - Supporting internal HR colleagues with setting up new user accounts and managing access permissions.
- System Maintenance - Forming and maintaining employee records on Fair Ways systems and centralised databases.
You and your specialisms

You will be extremely efficient, proactive and knowledgeable providing a professional service to internal customers and external stakeholders. To support this, you will have the following:
Essential:
- Strong IT skills, skilled in using Microsoft packages and experience with database administration
- Great analytical and reporting skills with a strong leaning towards technology, data extraction, manipulation and data insights
- Excellent organisational skills including ability to manage time and prioritise effectively
- Proven ability to work independently and on own initiative within specified guidelines or processes
- Proven ability to problem solve, be inquisitive, creative and improvement focused
Desirable:
- Previous experience of working with Access Sytems and ClearCare
- Professionally certified practice in data mining, analysis or visualisation (or equivalent workplace experience)
The role will be based from home with a minimum of 1 day per week at our Central Support Office in Cosham, Portsmouth. All candidates must have a full driving license and have access to the use of a car. Successful candidates will be required to provide an enhanced Disclosure (DBS). This disclosure cost will be met by Fair Ways.
