Fair Ways are an expanding and dynamic, charity owned, organisation that are looking for a Marketing Business Partner to assist with our growing customer requirements business wide. Our marketing team provides vital bespoke support to our internal departments whilst also being responsible for ensuring the ethos, values and purpose of the organisation are represented externally in a creative, engaging and innovative way.

About our exciting Opportunity:

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our marketing department for a passionate, professional and creative individual to join our dedicated team. We are looking for a Marketing Business Partner to provide specialist marketing support to our existing Fair Ways services and departments. The successful candidate will design and implement marketing plans aligned to the strategic development for each of their assigned services. The marketing plans will encompass campaigns, ongoing research, market tracking, competitor monitoring and identification of the most effective methods to market several separate Fair Ways services. The role will involve direct liaison with senior leaders within Fair Ways to consult, create, and deliver marketing plans for each customer with follow up reporting to the service on an ongoing basis. This will be reinforced by delivering clear analysis of all marketing campaigns with recommendations and advice ensuring continuous improvement.

All candidates must have a full driving license and have access to the use of a car. Successful candidates will be required to provide an enhanced Disclosure (DBS). This disclosure cost will be met by Fair Ways.

Basic Job Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be confident in their ability to undertake the following:

  • Provide outstanding marketing support to all operational services in the portfolio and enable key staff in each service to perform their roles to their best ability.
  • Influence, advise and assist each service to make the best decisions on marketing their service.
  • Help improve each service through the provision of market intelligence and become the ‘go to’ provider locally.
  • Educate, by adding to the sum of knowledge in each service, to enable the best decisions to be reached.
  • The MBP will be an advocate for each of ‘their’ services at internal marketing department meetings, delivering and analysing monthly marketing reports, against specific goals and budgets.
  • Maintaining and updating the company website content for their services ensuring it remains timely and relevant and aligned to Fair Ways strategic messages.
  • The MBP will support the development of Fair Ways digital marketing campaigns utilising their digital and analytical skills, developing Google Analytics metrics, social media activities and email campaigns and other digital pathways.
  • Contributing to the development of Fair Ways brand in line with existing brand values and marketing plans.
  • Assist the Director of IT & Communications in planning marketing budgets for their services and in compiling reports for Fair Ways Boards.
  • Attend meetings / events with Marketing Manager and Director as requested. The role will involve direct interaction with Managers to assist their marketing plans.
  • To be a positive advocate for Fair Ways and always represent the company both internally and at external functions in a professional and enthusiastic manner and promoting Fair Ways values and culture in all marketing activities.

Applicants will ideally possess the following personal skills:

  • A keen interest in digital marketing and social media with demonstrable digital marketing skills and experience.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail and a flair for good presentation.
  • A creative and analytical mind, with a willingness to learn and think of new ways of doing things.
  • A high level of professionalism, reliability, flexibility and dependability, resilience under pressure with a passion for customer service.
  • The ability to manage your own workload effectively ensuring that all tasks are fulfilled by required deadlines and projects are seen through to completion.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • A relevant marketing degree, or relevant equivalent professional qualification.
  • Excellent I.T. skills including the use of Microsoft 365 suite of App’s.
  • Proven workplace experience of practical marketing and stakeholder management.
