We are looking for a Legal Cashier to work within the busy Cashiers team based in our Nottingham office. You will have knowledge of SAR, have good IT skills, be a real team player and be able to work well under pressure.

Main purpose of the job:

To provide an efficient and effective legal cashiering service for all group companies and to ensure all group companies are SAR compliant at all times.

Key Accountabilities: -

  • Banking and cheque production
  • Responsibility for Client and Office transfers
  • Responsibility for dealing with credit balances
  • Deposit account facilities
  • Electronic bank payments, including foreign exchange deals
  • Banks reconciliation
  • Interest calculations
  • Direct credits into bank accounts
  • Posting/Uploading/Paying supplier disbursement invoices
  • Disbursement transfers
  • General queries both internally and externally
  • General accounts duties as defined from time to time and any other duties commensurate with the post as may be required from time to time

Skills & Experience:

    • Previous Legal Cashier experience
    • Accounts experience required at some level
    • Previous IT experience essential
    • Accurate with excellent attention to detail
    • Knowledge of Solicitors Account Rules
