We help customers understand who they’re doing business with, which helps drive more accurate decisions. We are focused on delivering solutions that prevent financial losses in fraud, help customers be compliant, improve operational efficiency and streamline the customer journey. The Role

You'll be responsible for the Business development of GBG’s fraud & compliance solutions across the European financial services sector. The objective is to create and win new opportunities to meet growth revenue targets.

You'll also:

  • Work with the Regional Director to implement strategies in line with the group’s Vision and Strategy
  • Ensure the achievement of the revenue target set for the markets
  • Build business opportunities across GBG fraud & compliance solutions in both new and existing customers
  • Make GBG easy for our customers to do business with, by aligning appropriate resources and knowledge
  • Be an advocate of GBG and a champion of our solutions to internal and external audiences
  • Work with the Regional Director to provide accurate and timely sales forecasting in line with the groups approach to revenue recognition
  • Communicate regularly with your line manager on activity and achievement against set strategy

 Essential skills:

  • Strong experience in selling software within large matrixed environments
  • Ability to understand and present complex solutions into a simple, value proposition
  • Ability to value sell and stress the business benefits of a solution
  • Self-motivated, driven to succeed and the ability to work with minimal management oversight
  • Strong understanding and relevant experience of the financial services marketplace
  • Experience in fraud and compliance is a benefit
  • Strong interpersonal skills that will enable alignment of GBG’s fraud & compliance solutions and services to deliver a seamless customer buying experience
  • Have basic knowledge of end to end software project implementation using Microsoft Technology
  • Excellent knowledge and demonstration of process to understand the clients buying process
  • Full demonstrable understanding of the end to end sales cycle
  • Ability to build a strong sales pipeline
  • Ability to travel to Europe regularly
