The Global & Majors Team

The objective of Global & Majors is to lead customer strategy that will influence GBG's ability to innovate, accelerate, progress product integration and deliver a world class customer service to named global organisations that have the potential to deliver long term profitable relationships This will directly assist our group level VOS objective of increasing £1m+ multi-product (solution led), multi geography accounts. 

The Role (Vision)

This role will be responsible for the generation of opportunities from identified customers, right across the group.

What you’ll do (Objectives)

  • Work as part of a small specialised group that has the autonomy and freedom to build business relationships at enterprise level
  • Identify and build a pipeline of opportunity that can make a significant impact to the groups performance
  • Focus on the customer and demonstrate how GBG’s solutions can deliver a return on investment
  • Build business opportunities across all GBG products and solutions in either existing customers
  • Provide accurate and timely forecasting in line with the groups approach to revenue recognition
  • Collect, record and distribute competitor and sector intelligence that will enable the group to deliver UP3
  • Direct sales and services teams to deliver on identified new revenue opportunities
  • Make GBG easy for our customers to do business with us, by aligning appropriate resources and knowledge. Importantly make sure GBG works as a team

How you’ll deliver it (Strategies)

  • These will be determined by you, in collaboration with your manager, and you’ll update them regularly to keep your contribution relevant as we evolve. You’ll do this via your Personal VOS.

To help you be successful, we’re looking for

  • Strong interpersonal skills that will enable alignment of all GBG’s products and services to deliver a seamless customer buying experience
  • Commercial and creative flair, without compromising either brand or ability to deliver
  • Demonstrate a history of delivering big ticket, complex sales
  • Previously worked in senior leadership and or commercial roles, international experience is a preference
  • Ability to understand and present complex solutions into a simple, value proposition
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Excellent knowledge and demonstration of process to understand the clients buying process
  • Can work and contribute as part of a dynamic group that is shaping a division for tomorrow
