The Team

GBG provides Identity, Fraud and Compliance Solutions to customers across the globe and we’re looking for dynamic individuals to join our growing ANZ team.


The Role

As a Fraud Consultant you will provide authoritative level of consulting on fraud and compliance solutions to help promote GBGs products and services across the ANZ region. You will maintain a solid understanding of the identity and fraud environment, changing business needs and industry trends. Key focus on enhancing client relationships by delivering innovative solutions to increase value to our clients and drive GBG revenue. On a typical engagement you will work directly with our sales, professional services and Solution’s team. You will also be expected to develop a close working relationship with GBG engineering and product teams and share insights within the team to drive us forward.


What you will do


  • Work with the Sales teams to strengthen the relationship between GBG and our clients. This encompasses all project work, pre-sales and post-sales support
  • Understand the client’s products, processes and business objectives
  • Ongoing consultancy contact with clients to ensure that they achieve the most value from GBG solutions
  • Proactive initiation of new business opportunities to enhance the client’s solutions
  • Write and deliver impactful presentations to influence clients and facilitate team communications
  • Understand the direction that our clients and the industry is heading
  • Responsible for planning & presenting at regional workshops and seminars 
  • Supporting the broader team to improve their knowledge of fraud in the context of the financial industry and other vertical markets
  • Develop innovative uses of existing solutions and services

Technical and Pre-Sales:

  • Tailor and present GBG solutions and services to the requirements of the market
  • Assist with definition and creation of sales materials, including documents and presentations
  • Identification of the most suitable solution to satisfy each client’s requirements
  • Assess and present cost-benefit estimation by prospect, including opportunity assessments and initial business cases
  • Assemble and deliver requests for proposals and information, ensuring timely, accurate and professional submissions

Solution Design and Roll-out:

  • Effective co-ordination of all work undertaken for the client by GBG
  • Production of comprehensive business specifications
  • Management of client expectations, at a high level in the client organisation, as to the solution’s capabilities and delivery time
  • Liaising with the client to determine requirements
  • Collaborate with internal teams to dissect requirements into solution design, software configuration, and timelines
  • Identify insights, features, and enhancements to be productised by the development team


To be successful, we are looking for

  • Proven experience in the fraud industry or similar environment
  • Working knowledge of fraud and or risk solutions and services
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interact at middle & senior executive level
  • Experience in the development and delivery of bespoke solutions
  • Comfortable working with SQL, Excel, BI tools and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, intellectual horsepower, curiosity, initiative, and attention to detail
  • Polished communicator, fast on your feet, and innately organised
  • Willingness to travel within the region
