The Role 

An organised and methodical individual part of the Extended Technology Leadership team responsible for driving the efficient and effective deployment and utilisation of people against demand so that we deploy the right capability, capacity and availability of people against the right things at the right time.

What You will do 

You will:

  • Create a framework, tooling and processes to ensuure resources are optimised across all teams, assigning resources as their skills, competency and availability dictates
  • Help us improve current estimating and sizing practices and make these more globally consistent across a range of teams and solutions
  • Generate a single, transparent view of demand, that helps us make better decisions based on the big picture
  • Provide insights and data on the utilisation and performance of people, projects and programmes

To help you be successful, we are looking for :

Skills

  • Knowledge on Enterprise Architecture (eg. BCS, TOGAF, COBIT - Advantageous)
  • Knowledge on Software engineering and methods (eg. SCRUM/AGILE)
  • Cloud and Infrastructure knowledge
  • Personal influence and communication skills
  • Supplier and partnership management

This role has a broad and diverse stakeholder group, and will require national travel, with less regular international travel.

As part of a global management team, a person in this role will need their working pattern to suit a global stakeholder group across the US, APAC and EMEA, meaning flexibility around hours to accommodate timezones.
