The Team

The GBG team, develops a variety of software solutions to help companies in the data acquisition, decision making and fraud detection processes. The Professional Services team provide delivery services to support software project implementation and customer advisory to ensure optimal use of GBG software and solutions.

 

The Role

Support existing and new customers, in consultancy and support inquiries from a technical perspective.

 

What you will do

  • Technical product delivery support along different stages of the project such as design, testing, training and go-live
  • Participate in design workshops, to demonstrate and advise solution design
  • Creation of technical specifications
  • Assist in project implementation to configure GBG product as per customer’s specifications
  • Installation, testing and go live support for customers
  • Resolving product delivery issues for customers in a timely manner and assistance to colleagues
  • Whenever necessary, participate in the configuration of GBG Products as per customer’s specification
  • Essentially become a technical expert on all GBG compliance and fraud products

 

To enable you to be successful, we are looking for

Skills:

  • Demonstrable work experience in:
    • SQL Server Database applications including performance tuning (Database design would be an advantage)
    • Software solution onsite implementation and system integration experience
    • Software solution and network structure design experience and hardware knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Technologies and solutions including Windows Server and its components (for example, IIS), SQL Server and its components (for example, Service Broker), .NET framework, Web Applications and Services, Windows Applications and Services
  • Knowledge in software development, mainly using Microsoft technologies with open standards such as XML, JSON, Angular, CSS
  • Knowledge in Windows operating system, networking and communication
  • A strong sense of customer service including professionalism, patience and flexibility, as well as a clear focus on meeting the needs of our customers
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and multitasking ability
  • Be the reference point for internal stakeholders in obtaining accurate estimates of work for professional services in product configuration, technical training and product fine-tuning
  • Create technical documentation and diagrams from scratch, propose technology innovations and drive technology improvements
  • Able to recommend best product configuration setup in complex environments using a combination of physical and cloud technologies
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Self-managed and proactive, comfortable working in an environment with constant changing of priorities and tasks
  • Act as a role model and provide guidance and training where required for other team members
