The team

The GBG marketing team operates on a global level, with Loqate teams working out of the UK, Germany and USA. The team is made up of experienced and highly talented individuals, who work together closely to achieve the ambitious growth plans over the coming years.

The role

Our content drives business growth in the areas of demand generation, customer acquisition, loyalty and evangelism, partner marketing, and brand trust and awareness.

In this role, you’ll be tasked with creating dynamic experiences and crafting compelling content delivered on the web, on social media, at events, and by our sales and partner teams.

The writing you will do is wide-ranging, from emotional story-driven narratives and punchy copy for advertisements, to more editorial-style articles covering industry trends and technical product-focused content.

What will you do?

You will be versatile and comfortable moving between writing styles and subject matter. You will be comfortable communicating with internal and external stakeholders, and translating their input into highly consumable written content.


  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Experience working with subject matter experts to create content
  • Able to handle multiple projects, deadlines and priorities
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a global cross-functional team
  • Experience with Asana preferred


  • Enjoys and thrives in a startup culture, yet can navigate a larger corporation
  • Self-starter with excellent organisational skills who can drive content projects from start to finish


  • Write compelling marketing copy for a variety of mediums: e-books, webpages, blog posts and articles, reports and whitepapers, brochures and datasheets, presentations and infographics, scripts for videos, and more
  • Produce quality copy quickly, efficiently, and against deadlines
  • Collaborate with designers to create visuals that bring your copy to life
  • Incorporate SEO best practices into writing, including the integration of keywords and in-line links
  • Ensure all content is on-brand and consistent in terms of style, quality and voice
  • Manage an editorial calendar of ongoing content projects
  • Analyse content performance metrics such as blog traffic, downloads or social media engagement to inform our content strategy
  • Develop content that is thoughtfully targeted to various personas and stages in a customer journey


In order to accommodate time differences for our colleagues working around the world, you will need to have a flexible approach to your working hours, with some calls/meetings taking place outside of typical office hours
