Loqate is looking for an energetic and hungry Sales Development Representative to work with our Account Executives.

You will be responsible assist the new log team within SMe//Mid market and enterprise brands. This role will allow you to connect with prospects and generate new business opportunities to drive growth for the company.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Perform market research, identify companies that fit our ideal customer profile and build target account lists
  • Perform in-depth research on the strategic initiatives of these companies, reach out to these companies through various channels such as email, social and phone
  • Qualify these opportunities based on fit and prospect business problems
  • Help Account Executives prepare calls and meetings with relevant background information about these companies and assist in sales calls
  • Respond to incoming opportunities to qualify for one of the following
    • Qualify as ‘new customer’ – refer to existing account manager if the account is known
    • Qualify size of the opportunity up to a specified value and book meeting for external new logo sales opportunity as appropriate
    • Respond to credit pack requests with a view to up-selling to larger pack
    • Qualify origin of the enquiry and refer to the appropriate Loqate sales region where applicable

Requirements:

  • Self-starter personality, you can at your own pace and have an intrinsic motivation to be the best
  • Commercial, winning and entrepreneurial attitude to achieve big results for yourself and Loqate
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with great attention to detail
  • Possess natural curiosity to become an expert in this industry and to get to know your targeted accounts inside out
  • You prefer working in start-ups over working for large corporates because of it’s dynamic, can-do mentality and you are able to move fast
  • Previous experience in an entry-level sales job (and sales training) is an advantage
  • Currently residing in/willing to move to the Worcester or Chester area
