EIDV sales, delivers the largest contribution of revenue to GBG and we’re notorious for signing new business. Therefore, the most important thing to know is what you will be responsible for next year in order to continue to kill it! The success of the business unit and the individuals within are important to me and vital to the success of GBG. The right individual will work to secure new business whilst expanding the lines of business sold into existing GBG customers via the #SellAsOne initiative. The products that will be emphasised for Yr18/19 are GBG|ID3global and GBG’s Fraud Bureau.
The Role (Vision)
Working closely together with the Head of ID&V New Business Sales collaboratively, we’ll build a plan to ensure the generation and growth of new business logo sales globally to achieve the target set. Your job will be to identify, qualify, sell and close profitable business contracts within your respective division(s)/vertical markets
What you’ll do (Objectives)
• Identify your key markets, SVP message and prospect universe which will be kept up to date via CRM
• Qualify, question and close new business logo’s in defined territory/vertical utilising such tools as BvD, ClearSlide and LinkedIn, alongside internal stakeholders such as the Pre Sales Professional Services Team and GBG Marketing Team
• Adhere to the Minimum Standard of Performance (MSOP) key measurements
o Minimum of 15 face to face appointments per month, 1 InMail per day, 1 contract per month
o Continuous and pro-active management of pipeline
o Timely submission of Weekly Activity Report and Forecast
• Collaborate with the Internal Sales Manager and the Telemarketing Team to build supplementary targeted campaigns
• Articulate the value and business benefits of the complete range of GBG products and services, identifying cross-sell opportunities where possible
How you’ll deliver it (Strategies)
• These will be determined by you, in collaboration with your manager, and you’ll update them regularly to keep your contribution relevant as we evolve.  You’ll do this via your Personal VOS.
To help you be successful, we’re looking for
• These will be determined by you, in collaboration with the Head of ID&V, which will be monitored regularly during 1-2-1’s as part of your Personal VOS
• To develop and sustain a viable business pipeline through CRM to support commercial objectives, including the identification of opportunities, qualification, sale and closure
• To advise on, and support the delivery of, a tactical marketing plan into nominated industry sector(s)
• To collaborate with Partner organisations throughout the sales cycle to maximise opportunities
• To maximise opportunities via face-to-face meetings where it is appropriate involving both Professional Services Pre-Sales and the Head of ID&V
• To act as a single point of contact for GBG IDV clients until the point of relationship handover across to an Account Manager/Director
