Front-end Web Developer - Worcester, UK

Are you looking for an exciting next career step in a high growth and positively focused business? With the acquisition of several companies over the past few years, there are now numerous products and associated active websites across our organisation.

Your role will be to support the maintenance of these sites over multiple platforms and technologies, working to bring many of them together on common platforms using an in-house customised CMS. Collaborating closely with the Marketing, UX, Design and Infrastructure teams, you will support the updating of existing sites and creation of new pages & CMS modules, often taking a design and converting it to interactive, CMS-editable content.

Delivering work to different parts of the organisation, you will need to be adept in conversing with people across all levels of the business to explain your ideas, provide feedback and estimations on workload, and discuss feedback on work produced.

As you are often not building web pages yourself, this role will require you to be imaginative in your approach in order to provide tools for others to use to construct web pages. A strong understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript is essential, and if you enjoy investigating and solving puzzles you'll find this role challenging and rewarding.
