About Us

People come to work for Habinteg because they believe in what matters to us. Inclusion drives all that we do, be that the services we offer to tenants, the environments we create or the homes we deliver. One in four people in this country are disabled but most homes are designed to exclude them. We believe in designing homes and creating neighbourhoods that everyone can share and enjoy.  We have 3350 homes across the country from Tyneside to Cornwall. We are champions of the Lifetime Homes Standard and provide expert training and consultancy through our Centre for Accessible Environments (CAE) in-house team.

About the Role

You will be responsible for delivering housing services to our tenants at our schemes in Barnet. This is a generic and rewarding housing management role - and a challenging one. You will be letting properties, carrying out scheme inspections, including key health and safety checks, helping tenants to keep up to date with their rent, and liaising with social services and occupational health services to ensure tenants can successfully maintain their tenancy and live independently. You will also be dealing with tenancy issues, including extensive management of reports of anti-social behaviour. It is important that you have experience of managing ASB.

Lone working will be expected as part of this role however you will be working as part of a small team managed by the Neighbourhood Manager, and will be expected to achieve stretching and ambitious targets. Tenant engagement is key to Habinteg’s success and you will work closely with tenant representatives and tenant groups.

About You

You will be committed and enthusiastic, thriving on the challenges of working independently and the responsibility and rewards that brings. You will have some experience and knowledge of housing management in the social housing sector, and will be committed to Habinteg’s inclusive housing mission.

Computer literacy is a requirement, as are sound written and verbal communication skills.

You will be flexible and agile in your approach, being able to adapt your approach to different circumstances and service demands.
