About the Role

  • You will be joining a team of highly driven professionals, passionate about delivering an outstanding service to our college and university students.
  • You will be an experienced administrator able to take accountability for managing the Wellbeing reception area providing a professional, welcoming and empathetic service to students that need access to the range of professional services on offer.
  • A key part of the role will be the monitoring of the residential absence process which is integral to our safeguarding procedures, providing detailed reports for follow up by the team.
  • You will manage the appointments diary for the team when required as well as act as a point of contact for students who wish to access the services.
  • The role will also require liaison with the local doctor’s surgery and organise student prescriptions.
  • You will be involved in organising and promoting wellbeing campaigns and ensuring there is a range of information available on internal and external services both in the Wellbeing Zone and on our intranet systems.

 

About You

  • With a proven track record in administration, you will have excellent interpersonal skills, together with a professional and positive manner.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines on your own initiative are essential.
  • An understanding of safeguarding is desirable.
