A-Level Lecturer (22.2 hours per week)

  • You will be expected to deliver exceptional teaching which will assist students to achieve excellent results.
  • You will be able inspire students to appreciate and enjoy Biology, instilling in them a passion for the subject and desire to develop their understanding.
  • You will be a personal tutor, advising and guiding individuals in their progress, success and career aspirations.

A-Level STEM Subject Leader (37 hours per week)

  • You will have the drive and vision to assist in leading the A-Level STEM department, overseeing delivery and striving to continuously improve the student experience and student outcomes. 
  • You will also have a good understanding of the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework and how this relates to the management and quality of the department.
  • You may also be able to demonstrate line management experience, which would be advantageous.

About You

  • You will be highly motivated, student focused and have strong interpersonal skills.
  • Possess a degree or equivalent in the relevant subject area.
  • You will hold a teaching qualification, or be willing to complete one.
  • Experience of providing tutorial support to students being advantageous.
  • We would be especially keen to hear from you if you feel you could also deliver our pre-veterinary enrichment programme alongside biology delivery.
