About the Role
- To work closely with the academic department and ICE (Innovation, Careers and Enterprise) teams to ensure that work placements are coordinated, approved and completed by college students.
- Carry out pre-placement health and safety visits and progress reviews of students whilst on placement.
- Develop and maintain relationships and systems that support the College work placement process, being mindful of current legislation and best practice.
- Thursdays and Fridays working days
About You
You will need to have an interest and experience within the Land Based Sector, Animal Management in particular. You will be able to communicate well and be approachable within the team, with students, parents and employers to maintain strong links with industry for future placements. Having a driving license is essential and happy to use own car when pool cars are unavailable (mileage for placement visits can be claimed back).
